She and her husband Ric have five children, who are all married, and eight grandchildren. At the age of 17, he was commissioned by the School of Music at Utah State University to compose an opera for its Opera Theatre Program which he composed, rehearsed, and directed.

Logan loves SCUBA diving she is a certified dive master with the Professional Association of Dive Instructorsart, music, reading, camping, hiking, and sports of all kinds.
Her books have been on multiple state lists, as well as librarian, bookseller, and parent lists.
He and his wife Wendy are the parents of five children and live in Cedar Hills, Utah. She is an author and writes novels for young readers Random Houseand travels the country speaking at assemblies and teaching writing workshops to elementary students and teens as well as adults.

As an educator, Shane directed choir, orchestra, and band at American Heritage of South Jordan where he also taught Latin. He likes to go by Sr. He loves the arts, the sciences, sports and the outdoors.
The Gallup family moved to Austin, Texas in and continued home schooling a few more years.
